Alex, 28, has been a core presence in a Toronto FC team that has reached three MLS Cup finals, including the 2017 MLS Cup victory in which Alex played a leading role. He has made over 150 total appearances for the club since his professional debut in 2015. Alex was selected with the 6th overall pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. He has earned one cap for the United States senior national team.
